Link to images in poster details

I've seen on other forums that there is a link like this:

Images: 15

on the left side of the post where the posters info goes. It looks like this:

It does not look like that in my forum. I have the latest vB and latest vBGallery but Images does not show up. How do I fix that?

Thanks!

It was on Yes but not showing up. I disabled it and then re-enabled it but nothing changed. Still not showing. :-(

Yes, my template is customized. I did notice it worked on another website I had that has a different custom template. Unfortunately, I don't have the default template installed anymore. Is there something I can insert manually in the postbit_legacy template? Thanks!

did you customize master style???
if not then just create a new style , + call it test style.. that should have the real templates.. or even better.. upgrade to vbulletin 3.81 .. then you will have the last master style..

Ah, I created a new default style and it works. However, how can I get it to work on my custom style? I don't mind some manual code insert into the postbit_legacy template.

Thanks!

Well this is how I would do it:
get the default postbit_legacy template and your custom postbit_legacy template... cut and paste them into a good html editor.. (I use edit plus but there are a lot of free ones out there).. and save them as html files.. give them names.. like custom.html and default.html..
i then open 2 editors side by side and go through all the code (postbit is not that big) line by line and see that the custom template has:
All <if></if> statements...
All variables and all $template_hook[ ]
there are about 10 $teplate_hooks in postbit legacy..
that is where the images display
make sure you get them all in..

then cut and paste the template back into vbulletin..

But maybe your style has an update for vb3.8????
that would be the easiest way to do it

yeah there are tons of programs out there. I use UltraEdit to edit code and also have UltraCompare I am sure you have heard of those but in the old days Michael and I from the UbbThreads days when we use to code modifications over there discovered Beyond Compare. I like it because its easy to use and setup like you wish.

Beyond Compare - The file compare, folder compare and remote directory compare utility from Scooter Software
