Oops!!

I reset the file size from 800x800 to 600x600 then rebuilt the normal images. Now all of the images are pixilated. Can this be reversed? What happened?

- No, unless you have a backup of the images you can restore, say from a backup.

There is a quility setting.
AdminCP => vBGallery => Modify Settings
- Uploading Options
-- Original Image Quality

Make sure this is set to 100.

PuraVida April 30th, 2008 05:56 PM

I was set to save the original but the quality was only set to 5. Am I screwed? In the future will having quality of the original set to 100 take up too much space?

PuraVida April 30th, 2008 06:05 PM

If I m indeed screwed the whats the easiest way to delete all photos? If i can restore, then how do i do it?

Zachariah April 30th, 2008 06:18 PM

When I said restore your images. This would be from the last time you did a full file backup from your web server. Default gallery media uploads to /gallery/files/.

If you have a backup you could restore over the stored files and replace your modified ones on the web server.
