stop guest from reporting images/post?

how do i stop/disable Guest from being able to use the report to moderator tool? getting spammed by visitors.

ya real annoying. im trying to catch the IP so i can IP block it, but so far i cant get who is doing it. should be a real simple modification to do for the usergroup id for guest users....

anyways hope to have an answer soon.

well for temp untill we can get a permission on this, inside the vbgallery settings, under usergroup permission editing the Guest permissions, i set No to "Can view large images" and "Can view original images". And now guest cant view the actual posting of the image, but they can see the thumbnails.

Setting no to "Can view large images" works just as good.

I don't have that code in my /gallery/misc.php file.

Is there any other code I should look for in older versions (2.1)?

I see the part of the code where it starts the Report to Moderator function, but I don't see anything that says "hook" at all in the text file.

Zach, is there any plans on releasing a newer version of the gallery, with this fix implemented?

Yes, 2.4.3 will have it, at the moment I am redoing alot of how userinfo is accessed and stored.

This will alow for more stats per user to be generated and displayed.
