Question Export data to ".txt" file or Excel?

Hi

I am not so much into mySQL databases. Is there a way to export the data from the online photopost database so I can use it in a ".txt" file or Excel? An easy way without learning Shell or similar programs? I am interested in the photo related data, such as photo file name, thumbnail file name, photo title and photo description. I have many hundred photos.

I use photoPost 2.4.2 and vBulletin 2.6.8

Anyone?

What did you want to do with the data ?
- You can output your database to many things.

I want to use the data when creating static pages at another site I have. I do this via MS Access database and asp-srcipts.

There is a backup tool
AdminCP => Maintenance => Database Backup
- CSV backup of single database table (bottom of page)

Table Name: ppgal_images

This will output to a CSV file.

Perhaps there is something you can do w/ CVS.

Thank you very much, this is a big time saver for me

I have now the forum in the root and the gallery in "/photo/". Is is ok to have both the forum and the gallery in the root? Or will it be file conflicts?
