Notification of new uploads?
 

Anyone know if VB Gallery will send out an email to the members when a member uploads a new image or file to the gallery? Currently my members have no idea when a new file has been submitted, they dont check the gallery everyday for new content and they have requested some kind of system via email, popup, both, or etc that will alert them to new files.

If this is currently not available in VB Gallery I would like to make a request to the Photo Post Coders/Developers this to have this added to VB Gallery.

You can subscribe to each category on a per user basis to get updates.
- As for "any" upload, with some changes it could.

Im not quite sure I understand what you mean. Could you give me a little better explanation or example?

When browsing a category there is a menu "Category Tools"
- Subscribe to This Category

This should generate e-mails on new uploads.

I thought of nuking that menu and make it icons in plain sight for on lookers to push vs. hunt for them.
