Members Category SubCategories?

- Here is a few ideas of different options.

AdminCP => vBGallery => Edit Categories => Cat
- Category Options

-- Act as Members' Category
When set to 'Yes', any uploads to this category will automatically be placed in a sub-category named after the user who uploaded the file.

-- Allow Users to Create Sub-Categories
If you Allow Users to Create Sub-Categories make sure you tell the gallery what usergroup has access to Create Sub-Categories.

AdminCP => vBGallery => Usergroup Permissions
- Usergroup
-- General Options
--- Can create categories

How does a member create a new subcat to put pictures in?

Members can create subcats depending on the permissions you set. If you allow them to create albums then they will be able.

Users can create albums if you have set in vbgallery admin to allow users to create albums in usergroup permissions and under your cat permissions you can specifically set whether or not to allow member albums in specific cats

Users if allowed to create albums will see links to do so when uploading.
