Delete the hole images ?

Hello,
i try to upload mass pictures but after i upload them i find that the size of the images are small 600*430 wail the original is 2896*1944 , So i need to delete the images i do not want to delete the category and create new one because i hate when the category jump the nummbers in the data base.
If i leave the size of picture 2896*1944 will it make the shape not good ?

Empty all images in a Category?

AdminCP => vBGallery => Edit Categories
- Choose category
---- Drop down: Empty Category
.............................................................

There is also some other thoughts of things you can do.

Global Gallery Setting.
AdminCP => vBGallery => Modify Settings
-- Uploading Options
--- Save Original Files [yes]

Then make your 600x430 size to something say 800x600
AdminCP => vBGallery=> Edit Filetypes
-- 800*600

^^

With settings above if I upload 2896*1944 to the gallery 3 images will be made.
- thumbnail
-- 800*600
--- 2896*1944 <= Original

Just a little reminder..
you have images that are wider than high and vice versa..

I always have settings NOT like 800*600
but
800*800 or 600*600

why? because otherwise images that are higher than wide (portrait) will allways be smaller..
example: setting 800*600
a landscape 2000x1200 will always be resized to
800x600 thats ok
But
a portrait 1200 x 2000 will be resized:
if setting 800x 600
to 450x600..

So if you set to 800*800
portrait will be resized to: 800x600 (OK)
And
landscape will be resized to 600x800
