URL problem

Hi

I have problem with uploading images

The URL after uploading image suppose to be like this

www.imuae.com/vb/gallery/files/1-mg_3075.gif

but URL changed

www.imuae.com/vb/gallery/files/1_mg_3075.gif

So the image doesn't open

I want to know why vbgallery doesn't make folders for new images uploading?

xxx.com/vb/gallery/files/1/example.gif

Any Idea.

There is a software switch to allow you to run the gallery on a server who's PHP is in "safe-mode".

If you know your system is not running PHP in safemode - phpinfo();
- AdminCP => vbGallery => Maintenance
-- Change File Storage Method
---- ON

I checked the PHP Configuration Editor and the safemode off

and I tried what you said but the problem still

the problem with large image or original image because the thumb or small image .

the problem with URL

http://www.imuae.com/vb/gallery/files/1-mg_3075.gif

the difference (-) between the images URL the orginal is (_) and the new is (-) and u can see it above

I use VBSEO in my forum
when i check the gallery file I found the image with another name

I took a look @ your server setup.
- Your php.ini

; This directive allows you to disable certain functions for security reasons.
; It receives a comma-delimited list of function names. This directive is
; *NOT* affected by whether Safe Mode is turned On or Off.
disable_functions =

It had a list of functions used by the gallery.
- mkdir, chmod, copy, ect

Test now please. - I have uploaded 1 image to test.

I'm having the same prob.
Safe mode is off and there are no functions in disable_functions.
Problem does not occur when the images are uploaded directly from the server.

Zach, think I can't access the php.ini on my server, and even if I could I didn't understand what things need to change. Please help me asap because my gallery is very heavy used. Let me know if you need ftp access. Thanks
