can't comment pictures uploaded

Ok, I am working on a site that uses Vbulletin 3.6.8 patch 2. I am also using the Photopost VBGallery 2.

Now everything runs smooth on the site, uploading pictures etc. All permissions seem to be ok but when you go to comment a picture it displays this;

Quote:

Sorry! This forum is not accepting new posts.
I also get this when trying to rate the picture;

Quote:

Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator
Even me as an admin I am unable to comment pictures.

As you can see from the attachment, posts are allowed.

How can I correct this issue?

Please help me.

Thank you for all of your time and efforts.

There are a few places to look on permissions.

1) Does the gallery allow comments ?
2) Does the category allow comments ?
3) Does the usergroup have access to post comments ?
4) Do other usergroups have a problem posting ?

I am trying to work out if it is a user problem, usergoup, category, global gallery setting.

Under categories I have allowed replies to images.
Under administrators and registered users groups replies are allowed.

the same users that can not post comments to images etc, can post threads in the forum.

the forum is www.pantyluvrs.com/forum

the gallery is www.pantyluvrs.com/forum/gallery

if that will help you any.

when you click on the image POST REPLY under the uploaded image it takes you to this URL:
http://pantyluvrs.com/forum/newreply.php?i=18

and says :

Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

Thank you so much for your reply and assistance in this matter.

Looks like your PATH and URLs are off in the setting of the gallery.

AdminCP => vbGallery => Modify Settings
- Title, URL's, & Paths
-- Gallery URL

Looks like you may be missing /gallery/ after /forum

What I initially did was place the gallery in /forum/gallery

then I moved everything to /forum

so should I run the install again?

All you need to do is update your URL's and PATH's to reflect your new gallery location.

AdminCP => vbGallery => Modify Settings
- Title, URL's, & Paths

No ending slash "/" .
