How to allow users to see 5 images and then have to register?

How can I get it so that un registered users can see 5 images but any more than that and they will have to register?

Kind Regards,
David

Something like that could be done, but you would need to factor in no limit on spiders or a block of IP ranges or domain names that have no limit to views.

I remember something like that done for vBulletin 2.x. for thread views.
- The session table was edited and all calls to the session in table from "showthread.php" added +1 to visitcount. (in this case it would be showimage.php)

Hmmm, looks like it should be possible to just use the XML file from that product, but I don't know what to change to make it count images instead of forum threads.

Also, it has support for not causing issues for search engines

Certainly can't work out what I need to change to make it count images instead of threads. Any advice?

Morning, you or chuck had a chance to look yet? I am willing to pay (even though I already purchased the product) as I appreciate the support you give.

I have been lost in a large vBGallery for a few days testing changes on load, and creating a change log on script changes.

It will have to be after that for me to take on more projects.
