| vbGallery - Cannot Edit Categories v 2.3
I will attach a screen cap of the problem. I've discovered that after upgrading to 2.3 last month I went in and created a new category and went to edit that category only to find that the edit page just ends at allowed file types and there is no "Save" button as the page isn't complete. This is true for any of my existing categories or any new categories that I create. I need to make some changes and save them but until this is fixed I cannot. Is there a fix for this???

24 hours later and no acknowledgement from staff that this will be looked into? I'm not looking for an immediate solution, but is someone working on this bug? TIA!

Have you tried to open the page with another browser, i.e. firefox? Maybe it's only a problem with your internet explorer. If this not helps, a first solution may be, click in a field (for expl. title) with the left mouse button and hit the enter keystroke, normally this should do the same function as the save button.

Did you look at the bottom of the page?
Mine is like that with no save button in the individual sections, but at the very bottom there is a save/reset button that works for ALL of the clusters.

Anyone heard from the support staff around here? Is anyone looking into this???

Just downloaded and tried the latest version of Mozilla and the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, as shown in the screen cap, the page ends after the allowed file types header. I tried your suggestion for clicking and holding the mouse button and the enter keystroke and it did NOT work in either FireFox or IE. I can't believe no one else with 2.3 hasn't noticed this bug or that the support staff isn't responding here. Is there some other way I should be submitting this problem???

I was out 14th-21st and dealing with the California fires and backed up issues.
Re-upload your admin file.
forums/admincp/vba_gallery_admin.php
The settings are pulled from settings tables and datastore. If after replacing the file there is still a problem, you can also re-import the gallery settings by uploading the forums/admincp/vbgallery_install.php file.
Select: "This will add setting and update setting cache"
- if you have missing settings this should clean up the problem.
Remove vbgallery_install.php when done.

I uploaded the vba_gallery_admin.php file again. Didn't fix it.
I re-ran the install program and chose the "this will add setting and update setting cache" and that did not fix it either.
Looks like a bonafide bug, if you want to log into my admin panel to see just give me a way to get you the credentials and you can take a look for yourself.
Thanks!

Thanks much Zach! I wonder why that was a problem, I guess a faulty FTP upload somehow. BTW if you noticed I am on 2.3, what changed between 2.3 and 2.4 as I don't seem to be having any other problems with 2.3. There is one thing I notced that changed in 2.3 and that is the way the BB Code link works, in 2.3 it uses a thumbnail as opposed to 2.2 and prior where it used the full size pic if you cut/paste the BB Code. Is there an option to select to have it work like it did back in 2.2 and prior?

I'll work on a on/off switch to swap from 1 to the other.
