Just migrated servers... no thumbnails & cant upload

hi i need some help...
i just did a server migration and the gallery seems to be giving me some probs.

firstly all my thumbnails have disappeared and all i get is a white box tht says 'no thumbnails' . i have changed the permissions on upload and data folder to 777 already.

secondly.. i cannot seem to upload any new photos. cld it be a path problem? i tried changing the path but it still does not work. any idea how can i make sure n check tht i've got the right path?

EDIT - i found the right paths... they work now

but upload is still a prob... it says i"Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet. "
