Prevent trimming long Description info from custom fields

How do I prevent the Description I inputed there for the custom fields from being trimmed? Sometimes I want to explain in detail what will happen to the images if thoes chose this or that option. Thus, the description can be a bit long. However, after i save the custom field, the description is trimmed down to a max of 250 charactors (i found this out by visiting the phpmyadmin). Is there a way to get beyond 250 characters?

Yes.

AdminCP => vBGallery => Modify Settings
-- Show Image Options (showimage.php)
--- Description Character Limit

The maximum number of characters that may be entered in the description of an image.

Ah, i think i have confused you . I didnt meant the "Description Character Limit"

It's here: AdminCP => vBGallery => Custom Fields => Edit (any fields) => Description

In that area, it trims down to 250 chars if it goes over this limit.

Well you can change the table itself.

Content visible to verified customers only.

This will change it from varchar(250) to TEXT

Thanks for the help! Will this altered table prevent future upgrades from going smoothly? Just want to make sure before i make this move

No this should not effect upgrades.
