Is there a way to have a separate vBgallery forum for each vBulletin forum?

Let's say I have a vBulletin site about pets.

I would like to have a quick way for users in a certain vBulleting forum (e.g., Cats) to go to the respective "Cats" forum of the gallery. Likewise, a quick way for people in the "Dogs" forum of vBulletin to get to the vBgallery corresponding to dogs.

What would be the best way to accomplish this?

Thanks.

I am working on something like this.

"Add vBGallery to each forum."

This will allow you to select what catagories from Photopost vBGallery to display in a film strip format under the $navbar and other places. This will show in every thread of the forum as well.

EX: Edit a forum subject: Science and link it to a "Science" category in the gallery.

- Old hack

I will have an update soon

I guess I could create a link in each vBulletin forum that takes the user/visitor to the respective vBgallery forum.

Wouldn't that work?

Will the old hack that you linked me to work with vBulletin 3.6.4 and vBgallery 2.1?

I have made subforums that link to upload.
I thought of adding that hack as a standard in the gallery install.

No but I'll put one out until a decision is made.

Can you explain what you mean by having "subforums that link to upload"? Do you happen to have a demo or example I can look at so I have a better understanding of what you mean?

Are you talking about a decision regarding whether to add the hack as a standard in the gallery install?

Yes I have been working on adding it to the next version.

The link I was talking about.
- I have made a subforum and linked it to a Calendar
=> Event Calendar

http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/forum_add_forum
Forum Link – if you want this forum to be a link to somewhere else, enter that URL here. Be sure to include http:// at the beginning!

You could link that to the upload URL of the gallery category of choice.

Thanks. I believe I understand what you are talking about.

The link that you put in your MOC forum is a subforum link to your calendar.

It would be nice if we could make links out of vBulletin thread titles. That way we could have a link to a calendar/vBgallery forum from the within the forum itself.

Thanks Zachariah.
