I have answered both issues several times in this thread a few times over so this is getting repeatitive at this point. You can ask in the vbgallery support forum why your file storage is not changing your files to the original storage types. The files must exist in the normal file saving way for this importer to work.

Given the 2 issues your reporting neither have anything to do with any issues with the importer.

I do believe my file storage is not changing.

hello what version of vbgallery do you have ?

- If not sure, the tables in your database that hold the gallery are they listed as:
adv_gallery_ or ppgal_
