Deleting gallery Hi, I want to remove my vBadvanced Gallery v1.0.2 from my forum (vBulletin Version 3.5.4) as I plan on doing a new install of PhotoPost. Would I just remove the gallery directory, or is there something else I have to do? I dont need to keep any images/settings from the gallery. Thanks |
Run: /admincp/vbagallery_install.php [ x ] Uninstall You will also need to remove the files you uploaded to the webserver from the install of the gallery. |
How would I do this if I no longer have vbagallery_install.php (for vbadvanced vbgallery 1.0.1) any longer? |
seriously though... P.S. I sent Zach a PM on this 10 days ago. |
Download the code and upload the install file and run install and select the uninstall as he states. This might require you to actually do the upgrade first so the uninstall knows what to remove since your using an older version |
OK. And how do I do that without paying for it? As best I can see, I need to pay for vbgallery before downloading it. I already have PhotoPost Pro installed, as you know. Nobody archives old versions? |
Nope there are no old versions so you need to manually delete your vbgallery files and delete the database tables then. Zachariah might have more info about this |
JBMoney, What version of vBulletin do you use currently ? |
I'm using the most recent VBulletin and PhotoPost Pro versions. I want to get rid of my old VBAdvanced VBGallery 1.0.1 entirely. I can't find an archive copy of the original distribution zip locally, so I can't upload vbagallery_install.php to run the uninstall. I can do it manually I suppose, just thought it would be easier if you had an archive version. I didn't want to deal with all the phrases, templates, etc. directly through the db. Will probably end up clumsily deleting something I need. :p |
I could rig something up. The old install file is based on vBulletin 3.0x code standards not 3.6x. There has been many changes to the database. Shoot me some ftp access via PM Ill see what I can do to clean it up. |
Will do. Thanks. |
