Arrow Change gallery contents dir

My gallery contents are over 2 gigs in size, so I would like to make a new dir to start receiving there the new uploads and have the gallery contents divided in more Manageable dir sizes...
Is that possible??

Also is it possible to change from GD to imagemagick in a running gallery??

You can change from gd to imagemagick at any time

As far as the data directory you can not split the contents and have two data directories.

Now you can use the storage options in admin and create a directory on your server somewhere else to store the large images. You would need to create the server path and chmod it to 777 and then input this server path in there and the program will move the large images there and keep the medium and thumbnails in the regular data directory
