Excluded Categories does not work for "What's New"

I have set Excluded Categories to exclude a couple of Categories (in my case "Test Quizzes" and "Members Quizzes"). This works fine on the main page: http://www.xatquiz.com/gallery/ but if you select "What's New" everything is displayed.

I guess I'm missing something

vBa Gallery => Category Permissions
- You can select custom settings on usergroups and catagories.

I can't see that helps? I don't want to differentiate between user groups. I just don't want some categories to show up in the "What's New" listing.

Is this across all usergroups that see these images?
As Admin you can see files other may need "rights" to see.

No its the same for unlogged in and admins. Try the links in the first post and you'll see you get different results.

I have re-enabled your admin account.
