How to import the database?
 

I installed the new version of vbulletin importing posts, users and threads from my old forum using impex. How do I correctly import the gallery database? When i try to copy adv_gallery tables into the new database through phpmyadmin my users and pictures are all mixed up and thumbnails won't show.
Please help.

Hmm well that is a problem.
- impex last I checked does not keep the same useid's as you started with most of the time.

IE: User 1256 may become 1215.
- Your gallery still thinks the users have not changed.

I'll yell @ the fellas on ideas on impex in the gallery.

What was the problem that needed impex import ? Normal upgrades : replace files and run the upgrade scripts.

What steps exactly did you use to update vBulletin? vBGallery, as you know, stores it's tables in the same DB as vB so if you copied your entire DB over to a second copy and then upgraded the copy of the DB to the newest version of vB then your vBG settings would have come along also (you would've just need to upgrade vBG if going from vB 3.0 to vB 3.5 or, at the most, re-install the templates if going from vB 3.5.x to vB 3.5.x).
