Usergroup Specific Upload Size

Is there anyway to allow a specific usergroup to upload larger files? For example I want only users in one usergroup to upload larger then 4mb movie files. Thanks.

Sure if they are placed in this usergroup and you set it to whatever limits you want.

Now realize that with anything and uploading that you are restricted by PHP so check your php limitations and edit your php.ini as necessary or ask your host to raise any php limits.

yeah the limits are fine in the php.ini. But I am trying to figure out where I can change the limits for the usergroup. Like I want to have mpg files for one usergroup to be a 4mb limit rather then the normal 2mb for example.

Yeah I gotta keep looking which section I am in here This is about vBGallery well vBGallery does not have all the features PhotoPost has.

In Photopost you can control total diskspace and max filesize per usergroup. In vBGallery you can only specify in usergroup permissions the total diskspace for each usergroup not max filesize like you want to do.

Last I looked there is not a limit per upload per usergroup.

- Usergroup
Uploading Options - Total amount of space that a user's files may consume

- Each Category
You have a choice of the what file types and their size - If you do not want to use the Default setting.

Allowed Filetypes
Extension
Max Filesize
Max Width
Max Height
