2 Questions vBgallery Help!

Question 1

How does one get the newest replies to an image to show as first in the list rather then at the bottom of the page? This is some thing that I have looked for and cannot seem to find it, and would like the newest at the top.

Question 2

I have noticed that the images that I have uploaded to the system do not seem to be as sharp or vivid, they seem to be missing that snap. I have a friend that has also complained about this as well.

Any ideas or tips for getting better quality?

Thanks in advance.

Dennis

Q1: You may be the first to ask that. By default it shows the comments in dateline order like a thread would. I'll try to remember to look this weekend when I'm home in the PHP code to see what you would need to do to reverse it (I'm thinking it should be just a matter of changing the query).

Q2: Your resized images or the originals? The originals should be exactly what was uploaded but if you mean your resized versions then try vBa Gallery => Modify Settings => Uploading Options => Original Image Quality and try setting it to around 90 or so.

Q1: This would be nice to change the order and I hope that you can find the info as I would love to change this. Looking forward to this change, and I guess there is always the first time for every thing.

Q2: I guess I'm talking about the resized images and I have this set for 100 at this time. I have saved original images OFF and have this off for space reasons is the way that I understand this.

Would this use the file size limit?
And would this use the file for viewing the image in the gallery?

Just need to understand this portion of the switches.

Thanks for your help with this.
