Hi
You need to amend the phrase called "powered_by_vbadvanced_gallery" to whatever you now need to show.

Once done run the script and select Reinstall the phrases once done delete this file and you should be all done.
I don't really think there is a need to upload any of the other files since they are all the same as they were before.
Hope this helps

My forum is Norwegian, how does that affect my translation of the phrases? Will they be removed and overwriten?

I'd definately recommend backing up beforehand, just in case.

I maybe wrong but I would guess that this would replace all of the English phrases. So if you are using a Norwegian phrase for the powered_by_vbadvanced_gallery phrase it would probably not be replace. If you are you will probably need to do what theMusicMan suggested.
Though I could be wrong as I have never really dealt with multiple phases.
Maybe someone else will know what happens.

Search your phrase variables for powered_by.
The copyright notice for the Gallery should appear, just proceed to edit it from there.. It's all that I did anyway. |

Does anyone know what exactly is changed between the two versions (PhotoPost and vB Gallery)? If it's only the Copyright notice I won't bother, I'll just update it manually.

As much as I am peeved by the actions of PhotoPost in an effort to monopolise the market I am still going to support the product and will change my copyright text, if only someone from staff can answer my question.

No, nothing else has changed in the product since we added it here.

What does the new powered by phrase need to say at the minimum? I am going to update it manually and I dont think I've seen that listed here.

Should automatically be updated in your 'License Info / Downloads'. If it wasnt send an email to sales@photopost.com and they will take care of it for you and make sure you get the extra year.
