Changing copyright

if we change it manually do we still get a free year?

since this is s sticky thread, it would be nice if we had a support person just give simple directions to accomplish this instead of having to read through 2 pages of posts.

i followed these instructions

What about the powered by notice on my site?

You will be able to download PhotoPost vBGallery 1.0.1 (vb 3.0 or vb 3.5) from our site, overwrite your .php files, and run a small script to change the powered by notice. Nothing in the files has changed other than the name of the software and the powered by notice. In exchange for doing this, we will add one year to your members area/download access for free. If you decide not to change the notice at this time, that's okay, but we ask that you do eventually change the notice within 90 days from now.

After i backed up my files, database and templates, i took my site off line. made the changes, ran the Update script but all copyright text is still vbadvanced.

Here are the options that were available for updating:

• Begin the installation process.
• Upgrade.
• Reinstall the templates.
• Reinstall the phrases.
• Update your image paths.
• Uninstall PhotoPost vBGallery Gallery

There's nothing there about updating copyright.

additionally, i am under the impression that you have to email support once changes have been made (they are not updated automatically) as per my email:

So can support please list a step by step set of instuctions for changing this so we may receive a free year?

- there were a few updates right before the switch over to photopost.com
- replace your gallery files
- run the installer (forums/admincp/vbagallery_install.php)
