Gallery Category email notification?

How can my users set this up? (sorry if Im missing something obvious).

My users can setup an instant email notification for an image, but also want to know if any new images are posted in a particular category. (e.g. their subscribed categories).

Go to a category and click the 'Subscribe to this Category' under the 'Category Tools' menu.

Thanks Brian. But I dont get any email notification? (for category subscriptions)

Subscriptions to categories are only sent out once every 24 hours, and will only be sent if another user makes a post or uploads a new file to that category.

Oh. Is there any way to change that to 'instant' or 'hourly' etc.? (point me at the code please )

You can edit your 'Gallery Subscriptions' cron job and change the time interval there.
