If that's the case, are you trying to prevent images from being hotlinked that are in certain categories, uploaded by certain users, or what exactly?

When we open the video tutorial section, I won't want any videos to be hotlinked. Is that possible?

About the only way to do something like that would be to upload all of the images under a specific username, and then place a .htaccess file in the folder for that username.

Does vba gallery make folders for users automatically?

Yes, it stores the images pretty much the same way vB stores attachments. If the userid is 590, then the images for that user will be stored in gallery/files/5/9/0.

I've just checked and mine isn't doing that Brian. They are only in the forums/gallery/files folder with NO subfolders like you mentioned. How do I fix this?
You have FTP access to my site, can you look or should I open a ticket?

Admin CP => vBa Gallery => Maintenance => Change File Storage Method
Looks like you've used that option to move your files into the safe mode storage method. Your server is not running in safe mode though, so you can use the same option to move your files back into the regular storage method if you would like.

Now, the last time I "accidentally" clicked this it messed my entire gallery up. I'm not sure, but it I think it was my fault since I closed the window before it finished.
Are you sure this will work OK for me?

If you don't close the window first then you shouldn't have a problem.

If you want to be completely safe, download all files/folders in your gallery/files directory, then make a backup of your adv_gallery_images table.
