Upload Video?

Is it possible to upload video file to the Gallery I see the file extensions but can't get it uploaded.


This is the file I want to upload
http://www.localracechat.com/video/Skeletonman.wmv

Allowed Filetypes
wmv is set to 4.86mb

When I try to upload i get invalid file error? i am tring to upload it to the Members Gallery.

We have the max upload on the server set to 2mb, so that's why your file isn't going through.

It doesn't matter which gallery you're trying to upload it to if the filesize is larger than the PHP limit. You can still use the FTP upload options to upload larger files like that though.

Yea just got up with support I have a 2mb limit also. But yuo say I can upload from the ftp oprin and bypass this correct?

Yes. When you use the FTP upload options then it's only a matter of the script moving the file from one folder to another, so the PHP max upload limit does not affect that.

is the 2mb upload standard for php or does it vary by host. (ie: how do we get that limit INCREASED)?

the goal: get it so users can upload files larger than 2mb.

It varies by hosts, generally you'd need to contact your host on how to change this.

I've seen it rage from 2mb to 64mb

Question

Ok I had my server max my upload to 25 mb.All file sizes are set right yet still it says invalad file.How do you do this via ftp.How do you get the file into the gallery.I see the option to upload from the database but can't seem to get it to fetch anything.
