Hi I am still learning my way around the VbGallery and am wondering what exactly are ecards and how do you se/send them etc.? I did a search and found some psots on Ecards but they were more of a techical support nature. Sorry I sound so stupid, I just have never used this feature before and want to share it with my users. Perhaps there is some documentation that would explain this feature in depth so that I might share that information with my users? I apprecitate any and all help.
When you are viewing an image in the gallery, there is a drop down menu in the upper right that is labeled "Image Tools" users who are able (depending on the permissions you've set) to send e-cards will see the option there to "send as e-card".
In your search, you may have come across my post regarding permissions and e-cards. I just today found this option on the main gallery configuration page in the e-cards section:
Apply Permissions When Viewing e-Cards
When set to 'Yes', this option will prevent users from being able to view an e-Card if their usergroup does not have permission to view the image included with that card. Otherwise users will be able to view an e-Card without any permission checks.
