Upload Error

I've recently upgraded my VB and Gallery to 3.5 editions. I'm currently getting the following error when I try to upload a file.

"An error occurred while attempting to create a folder for your files. If the problem persists, please notify the webmaster"

I have the /files dir chmodded to 777 and have also tried 755 and 666. Any ideas?

thanks

Re: Upload Error

What do you have your 'Files Path' option set to? Also, is your server running in safe mode? And if so, have you used the maintenance tool to switch to the safe mode file storage method?

Re: Upload Error

I checked my files path and I had it set for the old server. I've updated this now. Sorry for missing something so obvious.

I tried uploading a picture, this appeared to have work - I got the following confirmation:

"Your file(s) have been successfully uploaded and will appear as soon as a moderator has had time to review and approve them.

Click here to return to $vba_options[gallery_title]"

However the image doens't seem to be added to the gallery, and in the admin script there is no images awaiting validation.

I'm also not sure why the above "$vba_options[gallery_title]" is shown, but that is a less pressing concern.

thanks for your assistance.

Re: Upload Error

Does your server have safe mode enabled by chance? If so, have you used the maintenance tool to switch to the safe mode file storage method?

Re: Upload Error

I'm not entirely sure what the problem would be then. If you'd like to submit a support ticket though I'll be glad to take a look.
