Spacing

Hello,

How can I space the categories on my gallery page? I have been playing with the code for a few hours, but I have not been able to come up with the correct method for doing this.

My forums are spaced, so I want to be able to match the gallery using the same "look". Since I am skinning my site, its actually pertinent that I space them to make sure the looks scrolls across the entire site. (I have images on top and bottom of my categories.)

I would greatly appreciate a hand with this coding issue I am having. (Adding the images is easy. I have all the bottoms done in the gallery, but without the spacing, the top images look "wrong".)

Re: Spacing

Can you post a link to your gallery so I can get a better idea of what you're trying to do?

Re: Spacing

Hello,

I would Brian, but the site is not live and I don't want to advertise it just yet. I am trying to space the main page categories like we can space the main forum categories on VB. Basically, like this:

Category Name
forum name
forum name
forum name
(SPACE)
Category Name
forum name
forum name
forum name
(SPACE)

I used Zachs tutorial for 3.0.x to space my categories on VB's forumhome page and now want the same effect on the gallery page.

Re: Spacing

Hello,

Anyone know how to go about doing this? If it can be done with the vb forums, it can be done with the gallery. Anyone else get this set up like displayed above?

Re: Spacing

Hello,

I have figured out how to space the categories and will be posting instructions shortly for anyone else that may be interested. I first need to make a few more edits.

Re: Spacing

Hello,

Thanks for saving me the time of writing up instructions! lmao That is pretty much exactly what I did. I didn't search the 3.0.x edits as I assumed the 3.5 would be different! Thanks Brian. (Wish you had of shown me this yesterday before I went crazy figuring it out for myself. :P)

Re: Spacing

Actually, *most* of the templates from 3.0 - 3.5 are still the same.

Re: Spacing

Hello,

I have mentally noted that and will search the 3.0.x in the future before I ask a question that has been answered. Thanks again. lol
