open_basedir restriction?

I am currently running vb3.0.7. I'm going to be upgrading them in a few days to the newest version and then moving them to a new server.

Before I do that, however, I have an error showing at the top of every page for photopost . . .

Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/stork:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /photopost/header-inc.php on line 196

Anyone have an idea for a fix for that? I'd like to fix that before upgrading the boards and photopost.

what version you running?

My suggestion would be to ensure that your server paths are correct for the open_basedir setting your host has set maybe your new server will not have that set and you will be fine but we would need more info to assist.

I'm using photopost 5.03 on vbulletin 3.0.7.

I'll be upgrading to the newest version (both photopost and vbulletin) and moving them to a new server. Should this error be fixed prior to the upgrade? And how do I fix it?

That is a server PHP setting there is nothing really to fix. Just try and make sure on the new server that it is set off. I mean what is the error you have?

Like if your trying to load vbulletin over photopost you can not if your forum is in another server path that the gallery
