Re: delete more than ONE picture

The easiest way would probably be to create a new, temporary cateogry, use the mass move option to move those images into that category, and then delete that category.

I realize this has been requested many times before, so perhaps I'm beating a dead horse. Will there be any implemented functionality in future editions of photopost to delete multiple images at once? It's kind of a hassle to create a category, then move the pictures, then delete the category. I think it would be great if each image had a checkbox next to it so you could perform mass operations on them (moving, locking, deleting, sticking) - just like in the standard vbulletin forum software.

Not trying to whine, and I'm sure someone somewhere is working on it, but it would make things tremendously easier. Don't want to manually delete 12 pictures here, 45 pictures there, etc. Very tedious!

Yes I am working on inline moderation.
- select boxes - moving, locking, deleting, sticking.

hi,

new here

this sounds great. I'm moving lots of pics into my photopost-gallery at the moment and it's no fun selecting them each for moving into a subcategory

when do you think this feature will be integrated?

cheers & thanks
markus

did anything ever come of this option?
I know admins can delete multiple photos, but my users are all starting to ask if they can delete more than one image at a time, say checking 20 out of 100. Right now they have to select one at a time. I just sent out a mass mailer of about 10,000 users and many have come back after 3 years and really liking the new website but complaining they cant delete more than one. I've captured their attention to test out the new website and dont want to lose them because of the hassle of deleting their own photos

wrong product taylorpiano this is vbgallery and very old. You have Photopost Pro and only admins can delete multiple pics as you know.

I cant seem to find how to locate one user and select their photos to delete.
I think what I saw last time was just from the bulk move function from a category

Under approve photos in admin you can delete photos

if you want to delete all photos of one user then you can select the link in there profile to delete all there photos.

thanks, I'll go check for it. I have 3 users that came back to the website after 2 years since we took it over this month and want to start fresh and asking me to delete their pictures lol. Lets hope everyone doesn't want to start fresh with the new year.

Happy New Year, will certainly be a different one for us now running this website along with doing weekend shows April to Dec lol, What was I thinking

ok, still don't see it I'm in approve photos and it says none to approve. When I use the pull down menu, I just see categories and not even one that says members galleries.
I think my brain is mush lately, what am I missing besides a good stiff drink for the new year lol
