Search issues

When you install thegallery and links you need to change your navbar to put $vboptions[bburl] in front of all the php extensions to get it to work. The problem I am having is that the searches don't work with that infront of it.

When you search forums it just takes you to your forum home. Take out the $vboptions[bburl] and the search works fine.

As it is right now the I either have to take out $vboptions[bburl] and allow the search to work in all places except Gallery or links OR add it in and then it works nowhere.

How can we set our drop down searches up to work with the $vboptions[bburl] in front of the PHP filename??

Can anyone help here?? This is not only on search it's the same for login, search etc. Pretty much any POST type script being called from within gallery now won't work because it has my forum URL before the search.php etc which stops this working. There must be a way to sucessfully do this??

Sounds like you have your Forum URL option under your main vB options set incorrectly if adding $vboptions[bburl] in front of the links is causing a problem. Though there shouldn't be any need to even do that in the first place since you just have to enter the filenames in the Navbar Replacements option to add your forum's URL in front of the link.

Thanks Brian, my Forum URL was a subdomain which was causing all the issues!!
