Is there any way I can enable the gallery to show ico files and if there are diefferent icon formats (eg 16x16, 32x32) in the gallery to show all of them?
Thanks in advance

Re: *.ico?

As mholtum said, to have vBa Gallery recognize ICO file just add them to the list of file extensions in the ACP. Bear in mind that what will be shown is a generic file icon and not the actual ICO file itself.

Re: *.ico?

You'll also have to create an image called 'file_ico.gif' and upload it to your gallery/images folder.

Free thinking for a minute.... does anybody happen to know if Firefox, Safari, and the rest of the non-IE browsers can display ICO files as an inline image? I know IE can do it so I'm wondering if "ico" should be added to the list of standard image file extensions.

Re: *.ico?

yes but an ico file can have inside several images (at different resolutions and color range). I have seen ico files with more than 10 images inside. So which one will the browser display?

PS: Btw why the gallery doesn't create bmp thumbnails? I just noticed but I consider it too trivial to open a new topic. Is it because of GD2?
