Category Image

I would like to add a animated category image. I have an image that I would like to use, http://www.harddrivechicago.com/images/comingsoon1.jpg but when I put it into "edit category and then into the category image area of the control panel, it doesnt work.

Are gifs not allowed in the vb gallery category image area?

The category image must be under gallery/files directory. (Read the extra text in the description of the category image field in the AdminCP.)
