Member gallery and folders

I searched but did not see an answer, so I apologize in advance if I overlooked this. I have a member who wants to make folders within his member gallery. I see where we can allow user groups to make new catagories but not this. Is there a way for members to organize their personal galleries?

Re: Member gallery and folders

Allow their usergroup to create categories.

Allow your member gallery category to have sub-cats created.

Done.

Re: Member gallery and folders

If I allow the user group to create catagories, wont the be able to create catagories anywhere? I want them to be able to create catagories within their own member gallery but not elsewhere

Yes, they will be able to create sub-cats in any categories that you have the "Can Create Sub-Cats" option turned on.

Re: Member gallery and folders

Just a small correction to help avoid confusion, those users will be able to create sub-categories in any categories that have the "Allow Users to Create Sub-Categories" option turned on.

Re: Member gallery and folders

Yes, I was too lazy to look at the exact wording of the option.
