Brian, Question For You...Or Anyone else :)

I am a little confused...I was upgrading from RC3 and I noticed this in the instructions:

Now this applied to me, I use a different name for my forum directory, however, I am not sure how to edit this.

The default shows:

window.open("/forum/misc.php

and you want to change it to:

window.open("misc.php?"

So if my forum directory was named "community" would I edit it to show:

window.open("/community/misc.php?"

Thanks!!

Re: Brian, Question For You...Or Anyone else :)

You need to change it back to the default, without the /community in it, because the new Gallery fixes all the paths for you, on the fly.

BUT, if you are starting with a fresh copy of vBulletin that doesn't apply anyway. You'll want to follow the PHP edits for a NEW install, not an upgrade. THen, when you run the Gallery install, you choose Upgrade.

Re: Brian, Question For You...Or Anyone else :)

I am only upgrading the gallery and then will be upgrading vbulletin, so it sounds like I just change it to what he is wanting it changed to...regardless of what my directory is.

window.open("/misc.php

Correct?

That line should be changed to this:
