I dont understand

On my forums i want each user to get a gallery that only they can upload to called Therename's Gallery. I dont care about having other catirgorys or anything. Each user just needs to have there own gallery.

I thought this was easy to do, but im very confused.

That should be default. As long as a catagory is defined as a Members Catagory, they should be able to upload images once the create a gallery. That gallery will be named after their user name

When i go to upload, it ask what user to upload as. Are my users going to have to type that everytime? can it not just see who is loged in?

crap, just relised that only shows up if your an admin.

When you edit your usergroup permissions for the gallery you will see one that says "Can upload images as other users". Only groups that have that option set to yes are going to be able to upload images as other users.
