how do i stop mods from being able to delete images?

last thing i need is a pissed off mod deleting everything..
i only want that ability for admin.

Should be able to block them through the "Usergroup Permissions" screen.

Users that have been added as category moderators are going to have full moderator permissions. Other users you should be able to just edit the permissions for that group.

is there a way to block mods from deleting pictures?
like a soft delete, like with the forums?

i have a mod that i want to handle my gallery, but he is new and i don't want him deleting everything by mistake or have a bad day and delete everything during a temper tantrum..

seems like a standard request...

please advise.

Eventually we will have more permissions settings so that you can set specific permissions for each moderator. For right now though if you wanted to keep all moderators from being able to delete images you could look in your editimage.php file for this code:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Replace with this:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Then look in your moderate.php file and find:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

And replace with:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
