Make the gallery index appear on the forums index?

I know that it'd need some template work, but is there any way to combine the two so the forums index is like one big command center?

You should be able to do that by combining most of the code from the /gallery/index.php file with the /forum/index.php file, and then the ADV_GALLERY and FORUMHOME templates.

Re: Make the gallery index appear on the forums index?

I just bought this and it's great but I would like to know if there any post that tells you how to do this step by step? Instead of having vBa Gallery as a separate "instance" of the forums, I'd like one of the categories in my forums to act as the gallery, rather than having a user clicking a link to goto the gallery or typing it manually.

Any help would be appreciated.
