exclude categories from Recent Posts

Did i miss a setting on how to exclude a category from the most recent comments in the gallery?

I have a gallery hidden however when someone makes a post in there it shows up on 'most recent comments' Any ideas?

What do you mean by "hidden"? If you have it hidden by permissions, then they shouldn't show up to those that don't have access.

sorry about that. the boss was hot on my heels so i had to type quickly.

I have a category which requires a password to access. I removed that category from showing in the 'new pics' however images show in the 'new replies page'

(update :: I just explored this and it appears as though only the admins may be able to see this (so far))

If you've entered the password, you should see them too, since the password is stored in a cookie.

yeah thats not it unfortunately. I have lower rank admins that dont know the password that can also see this.

Admins are going to have access to all images.
