Adding download file links ?

Hi I have seen a few question about a Download link.

This what I’m looking to do.

Upload and image then upload a zip, gzip or tar file.

View the image then download the file.

Any MOD’s?

Note: if I upload a zip file you can download it IE 6 but not in firefox

Re: Adding download file links ?

There’s no .htaccess file and Yeah still the same.

In Firefox the first page you see a text link were the image should be.

But once clicked there’s no file text link in Firefox.

In IE 6 there’s a “x image’” one for a missing picture.

If you click it will start to download in IE.

Note: this is for a zip file not an image.

I do have a question if you cant answer it.

A user starts to upload lets say a series of photos image1 image 2 image3 for the three default upload fields.

These photos don’t get grouped in the same post.

In my install it’s making three posts three titles.

Image1>>options
Image2>>options
Image3>>options

submit button | Rest button

Right or wrong?

Is this the way the gallery supposed work?

thx's

Re: Adding download file links ?

I think what you want do to is upload a file_zip.gif file to your images folder in your gallery. For example, gallery/images/file_zip.gif

Currently, the only way images group is within a category (AKA a thread). So the three images will be seperate from eachother (seperate titles, "posts") but grouped under their designated category. The way to allow users to customize this process is to allow them to make their own categories.
