Import from Gallery??

Is there any kind of work around? I tried moving the folders into the gallery/files and nothing shows up.

here is a link to the gallery software so you know what I'm talking about

http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.p...ews&file=index

also my gallery and header links now link to the gallery path /forums.php this doesnt exist. I'll explain forums are at lexuslovers.com/forums (cmps)
index is lexuslovers.com/forums/forums.php

the gallery is www.lexuslovers.com/gallery. How do I change the links to point back to my CMPS index (lexuslovers.com/forums) ?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Import from Gallery??

MrLexusLover, if you mean import from Menalto Gallery into vBa Gallery then please submit a Support Ticket for the import (I'm pretty sure Brian has an importer but it hasn't been released publicly yet).

For the links... what links where are you trying to change?

Re: Import from Gallery??

As Kevin said, I have created a importer for Gallery, but have not released it publically yet since it has only been tested on a couple of sites. If you would like to submit a support ticket though I will be glad to take care of the import for you tomorrow and make sure the script is working properly.

Yes I did. They just call themselves "gallery". Sorry that I could not be more precise.

In regard to the "links". I'm talking about the header image. It takes you back to /forums/gallery/forums.php when it should just be forums/forums.php

Should VB gallery be stored in the index or in "Forums" folder?

I will change my gallery back to the way it was so u can do the import. I also will file a support ticket today. Thank you very much for your time in effort in advance. Also, kudos on the great work in VBgallery! I absolutely love it! A+

Admin CP => Style Manager => {select style} => All Style Options => Title Image

Make sure that option is set to the full URL to that image.

It can be installed anywhere on your server.

Question Re: Import from Gallery??

Brian the "sub folders" are not hidden within the main folder on your gallery. It there an option to do so?

You can see here http://www.lexuslovers.com/gallery/ Starting at ArmyOfone (about 1/4 down) his six subfolders show and I would prefer that they do not.

Thanks!

Re: Import from Gallery??

I'm not seeing any sub-categories under your 'ArmyofOne' category. You can control the depth of categories that are displayed under the main gallery options though.
