| Combine new Gallery Posts with New forums Posts
I want to combine these 2:
/gallery/browseimages.php?do=newposts
/forums/search.php?searchid=27899
I want to make it so that the NEW POSTS int he forums show the NEW Posts in the gallery combined with the new posts in the forums.
Is this posible?

It's possible, but would require quite a bit of work.

Ok, I was thinking of an easier solution then.
How can I just add a drop down menu on my forum navbar under NEW POSTS to drop down and say “New Gallery Posts” linked to /gallery/browseimages.php?do=newposts

Yep, new posts drop down with the option of New Gallery Posts linked in the drop down.
I know how to add links to the navbar, but i get confused with the conditions code for the New Posts. So if you can just post after "xxxxxx" add "yyyyy" I'll have no problems.
Thank you sir |

I notice you edited your sendmessage.php forum. Which templates pull that info.. I cant seem to find them and want to add some options to mine like you did for yours.

There's an option with your main vB settings to add more options to the sendmessage.php file. | |

| Re: Combine new Gallery Posts with New forums Posts MHoltum: ACP --> vBulletin Options --> vBulletin Options --> Site Name / URL / Contact Details --> Contact Us Options CSS59: To duplicate the "New Posts" drop down I have do the following (if you're not running vBa Links you may need/want to remove that section)....
1. Modify your "navbar" template. ACP --> Styles & Templates --> Style Manager --> {select your style} Edit Templates --> Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates --> navbar
2. Look for... Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
... and replace it with: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
3. Look for... Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
... and above it add: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Don't forget... copy & paste the contents of your 'navbar' template into NotePad or something else first just in case it doesn't work or you don't like the results. |

Thank you KW802, I did that but nothing changes at all. Here is the section where I added your code: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Hi, is there anyway this could be made into a mod, as I'd very much like the gallery posts to come up together with the forums new posts
