Gallery - No Images
 

Is there a way I can upload an image - but not have it make me add an image yet?

For example I run an industry related news site, would like to add the information (text, description) and then add the iamge when it is available (however a few weeks later)...

When it does become availbale, I can add the image later...

Any ideas?

Turn on Moderation for yourself, then no one will see it until you approve it.

Upload a clear gif file for the time being, then replace it later?

Sorry, I mis-read. You just make an empty "placeholder" image that you upload. Then go in, edit that image, and use the Replace Image option when you have the real image available.
