create my own template? i'm currently working on the javascript "open in another popup window" / "open in the same popup window" i want to know how do i create my own template to show the image in? after clicking on the link, i want to remove a lot of the stuff from the 'show image' template. The only way i can think of at the moment, is to create a copy of 'showimage.php', and then change the template name stored in that file to the template i want to use. (because it is in a popup, i want to remove: header, footer, navbar, gallery navbar, etc etc) Can anyone point me in the right direction / the correct way? can i just simply create a new template, and easily point to that, like these other modders do?? |
Re: create my own template? Just create the new template, send some type of variable though the pop-up ($original would probably work well since that's what's currently used), then use an if condition in the showimage.php file to change the template name that's printed out. You could probably add something like this as well to take care of the header, footer, etc: Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
Re: create my own template? alright cool - i'll loook into it tomorrow morning and see what i can do! :) thanks MR. B. p.s. - this is the [MOD] i made (made whilst i waited for a reply) http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?p=30715 |
