| Upgrading
Hello all, I am sorry for the ignorant question, however, is there a correct was to upgrade from a previous version of gallery??
What files need to be uploaded? Do I install it like a fresh installation?

Bascily upload the new files. run the upgrade script, follow instructions on new file edits. and bam |

It does...
Make sure you have the options turned on, and make sure your template got updated. (If you had any modifications to it, you'll have to manually revert the template.)

Hi there, I do see that the option is turned on, however, no image url is displayed...Where exactly would it be displayed?

If you modified that template before the upgrade, you'll need to manually revert it or the new fields won't be there.

Looks like everything should have been overwritten when I did the upgrade...I even deleted the phrase?

Modified templates aren't overwritten. (Just like upgrading vBulletin.) It only updates unmodified templates. You have to manually revert modified templates.

Sorry, I guess what I meant was no templates are edited, only a couple files that get overwritten...

In that hack you linked to, you had to modify the ADV_GALLERY_SHOWIMAGE template. Go revert that template.

ahhhh that is right....sorry man!!
I did notice that the maintenance to add watermark did not work either...could this have something to do with that template at all??

Have any buddies that are familiar with vbulletin and own a Honda 450R?
