Moving images from "real" members categories

I'd like to either have "real" sub-categories created under categories that are listed as "Act as Members Category" or be able to move existing members images into the "Acting Category". Hopefully that makes sense

I've got a few members that have created "real" sub-cats under RC2. With the ability to create members sub-cats on the fly I'd like to move their pictures into those "fake" sub-categories. The way it is now, on the main page the "real" sub-categories will show if set to display and the "fake" ones don't.

If I set it so that the sub-cats aren't displayed then it adds another level of redirection to gain access to the user's pictures for the existing sub-cats.

An example of what I'm saying can be found at
http://www.babblers.org/gallery/brow...hp?c=5&userid=

The first three users have "real" sub-categories while the last one was created on the fly and is thus a simulated "fake" sub-cat. Clciking on the last one gets you the image(s) as expected. Clicking on the first 3 takes you to a page where the "real" sub-cat is displayed.

Confusing, eh?

Re: Moving images from "real" members categories

A quick query should do the job...

UPDATE adv_gallery_images SET catid = 'NewMembersCatidHere' WHERE catid IN (X, Y, Z);

Be sure to back up your database, or at least your 'adv_gallery_images' table before trying that though just to be safe.
