Show CMPS modules on Gallery pages

Evening,

I can't find the answer to this anywhere... How do I modify the gallery script so that I can display my CMPS modules?

In index.php there appears to be a reference to CMPS;

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
So can anyone tell me where I should define VBA_PORTAL?

Many thanks in advance,
Peter.

At the very top of the file just as you would with your forum's files. The gallery already has the other steps done to make them a little easier to integrate.
Also, if you want to just integrate all pages, you can add the code to your gallery_global.php and that should cover them all.

Re: Show CMPS modules on Gallery pages

Appologies for my post, but I've managed to get it working!

The answer is to define VBA_PORTAL. I'm not sure where it's supposed to be done but it works by putting
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
in index.php

Pete.

Yup... You basically need this:

define('VBA_PORTAL', true);
define('VBA_PAGE', 'pagename');

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but where exactly would you put this in the gallery_global.php file? I found one section that has:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Re: Show CMPS modules on Gallery pages

Next question, how do I eliminate the News from the bottom. All I want to show is the left and right menus.

Turn off the news for that page.

Re: Show CMPS modules on Gallery pages

I've made the changes mentioned above to allow CMPS modules to be available on my gallery pages.

However, I've discovered a very odd bug -

after setting

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
in gallery_global.php, the footer fails to be displayed. For example, the problem can be seen on this page http://www.linkaster.co.uk/gallery/showimage.php?i=1053

The output stops straight after the line Powered by vBadvanced Gallery v1.0 RC2. Also, the drop down menus fail to work.

Does anybody have any ideas why this may be?

Thanks in advance,
Pete.

Just posting to say that I've got the same odd footer problem as Pete above.

Cheers,

Strange... Would you mind submitting a support ticket so I can have a look?

Re: Show CMPS modules on Gallery pages

hey - have you been able to fix this problem?

i'm having the same footer problem, but also, i've turned the news off on the page, yet the news is still displaying at the top, then at the bottom of the news starts my gallery's index page.
Also now it's playing up and showing the right column, too. :S
