| "deleting" photos
Since our photopost has over 100,000 photos currently since it's installation a couple of years ago, I want to delete all photos from 'member galleries' that are more than a year old.
1] If I delete them from the member galleries, will that also remove them if they were originally posted in another category? For example: if someone uploads to category 'a', they are automatically put in that persons member gallery.
2] Can I 'update' certain photos in the member gallery so they seem 'new' again? (Some of my moderators want to keep their older photos without having to upload them).
Thanks!

1) If you remove photos in the members gallery only, only images in the 500 direcotry (Members Gallery) will be removed.
2) Not sure what you mean - modify the upload date? Anything is possible, just depends on what you want to do.

If someone posts a comment 'today' on a photo that was uploaded over a year ago, will that photo be removed when I prune photos that are more than 365 years old?

I still see no "prune" options. Please be specific as to where I find these options. Bulk Move is far from what I would like to do.
I would like to nuke all pix older than one year with no comments. That pretty much insures anything good doesn't get looked over.
Please advise how to do this.
Cheers.
Adam

I'm sorry, I am not sure what you mean. The images are already in the database.

Yes but that is where you can mass delete images by category |

I'm using v3.3.1. I have no idea what you are talking about. Where exactly do I go to do this? I would like to nuke all pix older than one year with no comments. Please advise.

Here is what I am using:
Powered by: PhotoPost PHP 3.3.1
Copyright 2002 All Enthusiast, Inc.
do you have MSN or something where you can perhaps guide me through this? I am looking in Photopost admin.
In Photopost, under the "approval" function in the admin tool, there are no buttons or options. I have no "Approve Images" function that I can see. What I see is "Approval, Options, Scan Database, Bulk Move, Categories, Manage Albums, Usergroups, User Interface, Logout".
Thanks for your patience and help.

3.3.1 is a very old version compared to the current 4.8 release; I'm not sure this feature was in that version.
