Downloading all User photos

I was just served with a supeona requesting a full copy of a particular users photos on our site.

I have no idea how to comply with this. Is there an easy way to download and a zip version of a users photos. There are over 2000 of them.

We are running an old version of PhotoPost (6.23) and cannot update at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not relish the thought of spending some time in the big house.

There is no such functionality to do what you are posting here. You can not download and zip up photos.

You would have to view a users members gallery that shows all his photos and download them one at a time. That is the only action you have.

You might also want to inquire about this supeona as they can not require you to spend alot of your time doing this so you might also offer then access and they can spend there time doing this work seperating and copying out all this data.

I did think of a way you might be able to do it with a code mod.

In pp-inc.php around line 2713 add the code below in bold

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
That should add the zip icon to the childnav like you see in when viewing your favorites.

You would then need to actually edit misc.php and add in a clause as noted here to get photos based off the userid.

Find this in misc.php around line 616

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
add below

For some reason I cannot see the actual code. It is saying it is only available to verified customers. I am a verified customer and I am logged in. Am I doing something wrong?

You would not be a verified customer if you are an expired license holder. One license comes with one years access to support and download access. You may purchase a members area renewal to have access to support and download access. The announcement posted at the top of every support forum in 2005 explains how to become verified on the forums here and covers all this.

The latest beta Photopost Pro 8.3 has any alterations discussed here.

Great!

On 8.23 we can download a complete Gallery in one zip archive, and on 8.3 all photos from one user, a great admin tool!
